Out In The Park At Six Flags New England, is a Gay Day event organized by Out In The Park,
a program of Project 100, Inc. / Hartford Community Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
We are a dedicated group of people that are interested in creating events that are fun,
social opportunities for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning,
Intersex and Allies community to Get OUT with their friends and family.
The events that we plan and organize are warm-up events to National Coming Out Day on October 11th.
Our first event, Out In The Park, was held at what was then known as Riverside Park,
on Saturday, September 27, 1997. Since 1997, we have added other "Gay Days" at a variety of locations throughout the New England area.
All of these events are held in public venues and are open to the public. The emphasis is always on fun, social events.
In 2004, we celebrate our 8th year as The Gay Day in New England, and our 2nd year as the Official Gay Day at Six Flags New England!
This year we also will be holding our first festival in the 10 acre River's Edge Picnic Grove, with GLBT entertainers and vendors.

This design was created for the 2004 season,
for sponsors, partners and supporters to use, for linking to the Out In The Park website.
This is the revised image that was created for other web sites to link to the Out In The Park web site.
The following were intended as possible T-shirt designs, but also work very well as buttons or
pins, and as link banners for web pages. We actually incorporated these very logos into the Full-Page sized ad at the top of this page.
Though each event does have a "recommended color" for people to wear to be seen,
it is important to note that not everyone will want to buy a RED (OITP), Green (OOTF), Blue (OOTL) or Purple (OITC + OITK)
t-shirt. Hence, the following designs all feature black backgrounds. Note that "OUT" in each design features the "color to wear" for that day.
